CARLA ELIZABETH ART

“I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember”.

Carla studied Art History and Studio Art at Anglia Ruskin University – exploring everything from drawing and painting to sculpture and printmaking.

After graduating, she moved into graphic design and spent over 20 years creating adverts, brochures, logos and magazines.

During the pandemic I decided it was time to pick up a pencil again. A small box of pastel pencils led to a flurry of pet portrait commissions . ,,, then I turned to the sea.

Inspired by the Suffolk Coast, Carla started painting seascapes.

Now exploring different styles and subjects – from coastal scenes to wildflowers and woodland hares.

Carla now exhibits with us here at EJaRt Creative
