Briony Howell is an artist and illustrator living in Brighton, East Sussex, but grew up in Suffolk .

She graduated from De Montfort University with a Fine Art degree in 2007 and has participated in exhibitions in London and Brighton.

While enjoying the buzz of the city Briony still misses the rural countryside of the Shotley Peninsular where she lived for 19 years. The fresh country air, textures and colours inspire her landscape paintings, bringing back fond memories of long walks in the countryside with the family dogs.

Her love of textures and nature has also inspired her ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series, drawing all sorts of animals in as much detail as possible.

Briony joined EJaRt Creative in August 2019.
