We are inviting you, our EJaRt community...
...to get creative and share your artwork with us for entry into the competition. This competition is open to all ages and all abilities, you do not need to be an established artist or maker to participate, we want to champion the creativity of all members of our community!
This is a unique opportunity to not only see your artwork printed in calendar form but also exhibited. We will host an exhibition of finalists’ work here at the EJaRt studio in Hasketon, Suffolk, and we will be inviting visitors to the exhibition to select the winning artworks.
The competition will culminate at the end of 2023 with a final winners’ exhibition. The 12 winning artworks will be proudly displayed alongside the final printed calendar which will of course be available to purchase - just in time for Christmas!
How does it work?
For our calendar, we are looking for artwork that captures the essence of Suffolk.
Entries will be accepted until Thursday 31st August 2023 (please contact us if you have missed the deadline)
Entries will be shortlisted and made open to a public vote from Saturday 30th September to midnight on Saturday 28th October 2023.
Winners will be announced on Sunday 29th October 2023.
Finally, the calendar will be launched in November 2023 and an exhibition of winners work will be shown at EJaRt Creative from November to the end of January 2024.

What artwork can you enter?
We are keen for the exhibition and calendar to feature a range of disciplines so we will accept entries in the form of painting, print, drawing, photography, textiles, ceramic, sculpture and glasswork.
In order to be reproduceable in calendar form, entries must be:
Landscape orientation ( so it fits on the calendar page)
Maximum size A2 (60cm x 42cm)
2D or 2D relief
The artwork must be an original which has been created by the applicant.

Who can enter?
This competition is open to everyone! We welcome applications from both professional and amateur artists. We are also keen to embrace artwork from all age ranges, however, applications from under 18s must be accompanied by parental permission.

How to enter?
Complete your entry form and deliver this, along with your original artwork, to EJaRt Creative Hasketon.

Please Note: We will only accept 3 artworks per applicant for the year.
