Inspiration: 'This print is inspired by one of the wooden angels that look down from the roof of St Agnes Church in Cawston, North Norfolk. They are magnificent, imposing figures, many of them wearing feathered suits, which actors often wore in Medieval pageants. Originally brightly painted, they now are faded, but they are still an extraordinary sight.' DV
